GAME GUIDE
Realm vs Realm - Mini-Guide
RvR Times (Chrysalis Mean Time):

Occurs once every weekend Saturday 6pm - 8pm

RvR is a chance for the nations of Chrysalis to participate in large-scale, all-out warfare. Players battle for control of three separate castles: Garmedis Stronghold, the Killien Fortress, and Rangdil Keep. In addition to fighting on foot, players will be able to pilot siege engines and construct a number of offensive and defensive pylons, such as transport cannons, gun turrets, and zeppelin bombing stations. To lead your nation to victory, you will have to work as a team and make use of a wide range of tactics!

Realm vs Realm
What you need: Players must be level 50+ to participate. To construct pylons and siege engines, players must have a sufficient amount of Energy Stones and gold.
Who to talk to: To enter, talk to the save NPC in your nation's fortress on Rope Isle (Gunta in the Steel Stronghold or Pandak in the Tranquil Sanctuary), and they will teleport you to the entrance of the RvR area. Then, click on the giant stone barrier to enter the fight. To leave the RvR arena, you will need to use your Town Portal ability.

RvR Machines

In the RvR zone you will find glowing circles called “production zones” where you can build pylons to assist your side in battle.

There are 3 different types:

Field Pylon Can be made by anyone in the production zones and function as stations to board siege engines and other forms of transport.
Force Pylon Can be made by Gageteers/Tinkerers and function at turrets
Relic Pylon Can be made by Artificers/Galvanists and they function as either mines or turrets.

Siege Engines

There are three different types of siege engines:

Rock Crushers / Destroyer The close-range siege engine made by Artificers/Galvanists. Limited two per nation.
Water Cannon / Steam Cannon A long-range siege engine effective against machines. Made by Gadgeteers/Tinkerers. Limited four per nation.
Firebrand / Suppressor A long-range siege engine effective against other players. Made by Gadgeteers / Tinkerers. Limited six per nation.

Additionally, each siege engine has 3 different ranks depending on the upgrade level of the Pylon used to build them.

Taking a Castle

To take a castle from the opposing nation, you must get to the inner chamber and destroy the “Steam Core”. The nation with the most castles at the end of RvR will receive a special buff until the next RvR session. (+3% EXP, +5% Gold, +1500 Neo Steam Allowance, -3% item alteration costs)

Realm vs Realm

Background Story:

As Rogwel and Elerd fought for control over Rope Isle's resources, the Crom mediators apportioned the land so that each nation held claim over a separate side of the island. However, ownership of the central region of the island, where Energy Stones are most abundant, was never assigned.

To this day, the nations continue to battle for dominance over this region, and the results have proven to be very profitable to whichever side can control the castles at the end of the day.

RvR Dungeons

Beneath the three castles within the RvR area lie the Garmedis, Killien, and Rangdil dungeons. Each is filled with powerful monsters and complex puzzles. The dungeons are divided up into two level brackets: 70-90 and 90-110. In addition to different monsters appearing in each level bracket, each dungeon has its own the puzzles to solve. They open for exploration every 2 hours and only remain open for 2 hours. Enemies within the dungeons all drop Lesser Energy Stones (in addition to other drops), and the mini-bosses and bigbosses drop even larger Energy Stones... These bosses also will drop exclusive materials required to make special, high-level armor and, in rare cases, sometimes can drop the armor itself!

Realm vs Realm

In order to access these dungeons, a player’s nation must be in possession of that castle at the end of the RvR battle. Players must be in a party of at least 5 people and talk to the giant gate in each of the RvR castles. The party must have an average level of 70 for the lower-level bracket or 90 for the higher-level bracket.

Realm vs Realm

Players must also visit these dungeons at the right times in order to enter. Following are the schedules for each dungeon (all times are in Chrysalis Mean Time):

Rangdil & Garmedis Killien
12am - 2am 2am - 4am
4am - 6am 6am - 8am
8am - 10am 10am - 12am
12pm - 2pm 2pm - 4pm
4pm - 6pm 6pm - 8pm
8pm - 10pm 10pm - 12am

Background Story:

Before the shattering of the world, these dungeons actually served as the main Neo Steam processing and purifying factories for all of Chrysalis. However, after the shattering, when the Crom found themselves alone and defenseless, they used their mechanical know-how to seal up these factories so that they could be safe from the horrors within, now mutated and perverse after centuries of disuse and exposure to powerful chemicals.

There are new areas to explore, new monsters to fight (some small... some ginormous!), new items to be found, new puzzles to solve, and new, exclusive armor sets to create! Plus, your nation must earn the right to delve into these hallways and vanquish the creatures that stand in your way!
