Flame Basin is an area on Rope Isle that is divided between the nations with a small battleground in the middle. Warbots are scattered throughout, along with several mini-bosses. The big boss of the area, Subject M-277, lays in wait in the center of the basin.

Enter through the Warp Gate next to Alladum in Conviction Town.

In the center of Flame Basin lurks the aberrant Subject M-277. This exceedingly fierce Id was bioengineered by the Crom after the Warbots turned on them. While their original intent was to produce a race of sentient creatures to protect them from the dangers of Rope Isle, they soon abandoned this research once they found that, like Subject M-277, none of their creations could be trained or domesticated. They set him loose in Flame Basin, hoping he would never return to terrorize their colonies.
