Pets are mysterious spirits from deep within the earth, and you are fortunate enough to have been chosen by one to be its master! You can view information on your pet by pressing T or clicking on the "Pet" tab from the Character Window.

When you summon your pet into the field, it will follow you around faithfully and use a number of useful abilities to aid you in combat. You can also tell your pet to open a portal that warps you back to the last town you saved.

Feeding Your Pet

Whenever your pet is summoned out in the field, its Food Meter will slowly decrease. To feed your pet, open your Inventory and find a food item (such as Pet Milk). Then you can either right-click the item, double-left-click the item, or drag the item onto the pet. Take a look at the Food Meter to determine if you should feed it or not.

Pet Evolution and Leveling

If you visit a pet trainer, you can help your pet evolve and customize it to suit your play style. You must select whether you want a pet that heals you, attacks in combat, or attempts to steal gold from your enemies.

Only once your pet has evolved will it begin gaining EXP and leveling up. Your pet will gain EXP automatically whenever it is out in the field, but it will also gain EXP when it uses skills or when you feed it Soul Crystals.

* Tip: Once you have selected which type of evolution you want for your pet, the only way to undo it is with a Pet Reversion Scroll.

Pet Grades

Your pet can have one of three grades: Normal, Enhanced, and Maximum. The higher your pet's grade, the stronger and more effective its abilities will be.

These grades are independent of the pet's level, and whenever your pet gains a level, its grade will reset to Normal. To increase your pet's grade, you must feed it Nutrition Stones.
