200 years ago, Rogwel was a monarchy, but after a series of corrupt rulers, revolution broke out among the citizens. They overthrew the monarchy and established Rogwel as a republic. The village leaders, known as Maestros, met to discuss the future of the nation, and they placed a high priority on science and learning. Rogwel is known for its advanced technology and is the home to such luminaries as Maestro Portis.
