The Kingdom of Elerd
The Realm of Magic
Neo Steam

As a nation devoted to fusing magic and technology to form a safer alternative to the ways of the old world, Elerd is a kingdom set amid lush forests and majestic mountains, and its cities were designed to complement the scenery around them. Each of them is governed by a pair of High Priests.

Cerity Praha, the spiritual center of Elerd, is where the High Priests convene to discuss the future of the nation. In tribute to the enduring guidance and mercy of Armankase, the castle's towering spires point upward to symbolize that he is watching from above, and a giant golden statue was erected within the city to symbolize that he is also present within the citizens' daily lives.

Nasdaim is one of the fastest-growing cities in Elerd. Moreso than Cerity Praha, it displays a greater variety of magic-infused machines and experiments. It is estimated that although Nasdaim is only half the size of Cerity Praha, it requires nearly double the amount of Neo Steam to function. A large part of this, though, is due to the immense zeppelin hangars within the city.

Bijumir, perhaps the most unique settlement in Elerd, is a peaceful community built along a clean river source. It is a haven for pilgrims, and it houses a vast collection of religious tomes and scriptures. The city is divided into three sectors, each devoted to the three spiritual tenets of Elerd's beliefs: Life, Light, and Wisdom.

Although they see a society based on pure science as irresponsible and an affront to the spirits, the citizens of Elerd have learned that technology is necessary to surviving in the shattered world, and while their machinery is infused with magic, a generous amount of Neo Steam is still required to run the kingdom. In addition, there are many magical benefits to harnessing Neo Steam, and this has spawned a number of incidents with the Republic of Rogwel, as both nations quarrel over the world's limited supply of Energy Stones.
